“I lost an uncle to AIDS when I was a teenager. The compassion and empathy I learned during that time, by listening and learning from those residents in Parkview Manor still resonate within me today. I want to teach my children about compassion, empathy and providing service through volunteer work and I can think of no better cause than this.”

“The Indiana AIDS Walk emphasizes voices from across the state and allows for statewide emergency financial assistance to those who need it most in an effort to bring the HIV epidemic to an end.”

“People who are living with HIV can live long, healthy lives if they get the care they need. I want to make sure nothing stands in the way of them getting that care.”

“The Indiana AIDS Walk is important to me because it takes everyone to help meet the needs of Hoosiers living with HIV.”

“The Indiana AIDS Walk is not only an opportunity to raise money for care, programming and services for those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS but also a way to honor those who lost their lives before life-sustaining medications were available”
